KASSANDRA LORa studios
SUSTAINABLE design and spaces with a meaning
Kassandra Lora is an industrial designer and 3D technician whose work exists at the intersection of contemporary aesthetics and the rich traditions of her upbringing in Bolivia. Born in Stockholm and raised in Bolivia, her practice is deeply rooted in cultural heritage, craft, and storytelling, while embracing modern tools and experimental approaches. By merging digital technologies with ancestral perspectives and beliefs in the interconnectedness of nature, she creates work that resonates across cultural and ecological dimensions. Now based in Sweden, Kassandra brings this sensibility into a contemporary, experimental context.
She holds a Master of Arts in Industrial Design (Design Ecologies) from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Sweden, and also holds a professional title as a 3D technician. Kassandra has served as a creative director on multiple projects and is a guest lecturer at several renowned design schools and universities in Stockholm. She is a member of the art collective MissChiefs and the tech-art collective Rumtiden Idea Lab.
Her practice spans digital and physical creation, including 3D modeling, 3D printing, 3D scanning, sculpture, wearable design, scenography, and digital-to-physical production. Sustainability is central to her work, with explorations in reuse, biocompatible 3D printing materials, and circular design principles. Kassandra has collaborated with internationally recognized artists across TV and film production as well as with innovative companies, blending craft, technology, and ecological awareness in each project.
